Study shows acupuncture and physical exercise help women with PCOS
A recent Swedish study has found that both acupuncture and physical exercise can have a positive effect on improving hormone levels and regulating menstruation in women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
Professor Elisabet Stener-Victorin conducted the research and reported that, "The study shows that both acupuncture and exercise reduce high levels of testosterone and lead to more regular menstruation. Of the two treatments, the acupuncture proved more effective."
